Yesterday I was out with West Highland College students from the second year of the Adventure Tourism Degree introducing them to outdoor climbing. I took 4 students up the Gutter (Diff) in 3 pitches on a mostly dry day (grey, blustery and threatening - a foretaste of today's deluge). We focussed on the leading climbing process and giving them an introduction to building simple belays.
Great to see the buzz around the new MT Coaching Awards. I'm plotting my first dates for Novemeber- more details when I can respond to some queries about direct entry to the scheme.
Now I'm of on holiday to Mallorca for a week! Bolts, bikes and beaches!
